Fly to the Laikipia plateau

The next three days will be spent at the Laikipia a vast plateau, straddling the Equator. Laikipia district is the wilderness to the north-west of Mount Kenya at the heart if the Rift Valley. Laikipia forms the core of the Ewaso ecosystem in Kenya rugged Northern Frontier region. A land of high wildlife population densities and second only to the Masai Mara ecosystem, home to second largest elephant population of elephants and country’s highest population of endangered species. Laikipia diversity is remarkably unique and includes Elephants, Black Rhino, Grevy’s Zebra, Reticulated giraffe and a large number of predators. Apart from the relaxation other activities experienced here are wildlife related day and night game drive.
