Leave Nairobi behind and travel north to the northern frontier region via the shoulder of Mt. Kenya destination - Samburu National reserve teeming with wildlife for the next three days. Samburu is home to the rare northern specialist species such as the Grey’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, and gerenuk and Beisa oryx. Experience day and night game drive, bird watching, sundowners, bush meals, nature walk and Samburu cultural experience.
Depart from Samburu and proceed to the Masai range land that embodies five main wildlife habitats including open African plains, acacia woodland, rocky thorn bush country, swamps and marshland and covers part of a pleistocene lake basin, now dry. Within the basin is a temporary lake, Lake Amboseli that floods during rainy season. Amboseli a place of creating lifelong memories large herds of elephants and an opportunity to see a wide variety of wildlife, including the Big Five with the backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Participate in contemporary Maasai culture and indigenous life style and traditional practices.
After a most memorable three days we continue with our safari to the threatre of the wild where large herds of elephants and others wildlife reside. Yatta Plateau is about 290 Km long is one of the world’s longest Lava flow, the famed man eaters lion of Tsavo, early European explorer journey through here in 1898. Wildlife found in the Tsavo includes Elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, crocodile, waterbuck kudu, gerenuk, zebra and hunters hartebeest. This wild game is complemented by the park’s striking natural landscape and scenic features.
